Each society has its own values that it adheres to and wants to grow and continue among its children, and tolerance remains a universal human value that all societies seek to consolidate and practice, because it is one of the basic and moral principles of building a human society. And our world today is in dire need of effective tolerance and positive interaction between people, because the rapprochement between cultures and interaction between civilizations is increasing day by day thanks to technological progress and the information revolution that has removed the temporal and spatial barriers between nations and peoples, so that everyone lives in a large global village, and to activate the role of tolerance values must be learned and educated to young people. Within this context, this article comes to highlight the role of the school in consolidating the values of tolerance, through addressing the book" in the rehab of the Arabic language" sixth primary level by studying and analyzing to extract what it contains of the values of tolerance, and has adopted the descriptive analytical curriculum, through describing and analyzing the content of literary texts, monitoring the repetition rates: 1) This works to popularize the values of tolerance, where we find that every literary text carries at least one of the values of tolerance. 2) The total number of repetitions of the values of tolerance contained in this book is 168 values distributed over the eight fields of study, with a noticeable disparity, where social values dominated by 61.90% of the total values contained in the book. 3) A significant decrease in the number of repetitions of religious tolerance values, as they accounted for only 8.92%. 4) The almost absence of scientific and political tolerance values, as they were listed only by 2.38% for each of them. 5) The need for the literary discourse contained in the literary texts addressed to the learner of this educational stage to pay attention to all areas of tolerance, considering the great importance of this age group, which shapes the future of the nation.
