The didactic reference stated in the educational guidelines for teaching geography in secondary schools in Morocco is characterized by a certain ambiguity and a general lack of implementation, especially regarding the step of geographical interpretation. In light of this, this article aims to present a didactic plan for learning geographical interpretation, derived from the epistemological heritage of the subject and based on the official didactic reference (Mohamed Zekour model, 1990) for teaching geography in general education and specifically in secondary schools. Based on this foundation, we have developed an operational didactic model for learning geographical interpretation through three main pillars, articulated into an operational plan that starts with description and then moves to the step of interpretation, with the aim of building abstract suggestions.
