The study aimed to identify the degree to which principals of private kindergartens in Jordan possess the skills of identifying gifted children and their relationship to some variables from the point of view of teachers working with the principals. The study used the descriptive survey methodology, and the study sample was randomly selected from the study population. The number of which was (397) private kindergarten teachers in Jordan. In order to achieve the aim of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (40) items distributed on four domains, whose validity and reliability were confirmed. The results showed that the degree of private kindergarten principals' possession of the skills of identifying gifted children from the point of view of the teachers working with them was medium. There were no statistically significant differences for the levels of the total degree of private kindergarten principals' possession of the skills of identifying gifted children attributed to a variable (educational qualification and years of experience). On the other hand, the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of private kindergarten principals possessing the skills of identifying gifted children due to the variability of educational specialization in all areas of performance, in favour of the kindergarten and the homeroom teacher.
