الأداء التفاضلي الفردي في بيانات اختبار (timss) للرياضيات تبعا للمجال المعرفي لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي في الأردنّ
The study aimed at investigating the existence of differential person functioning in the national data of (TIMSS2019) for mathematics of eighth grade in Jordan, according to the cognitive domain. The study was conducted on a sample consisting of (513) students who responded to (39) of the test items. The researchers used the Mantel-Hanszel method was employed to detect differential functioning cases. The results showed that percentages of individuals with differential functioning performance. These percentages were: (4.5%) for the domains of numbers and algebra, (0.97%) for the domains of numbers and geometry, (1.75%) for the domains of numbers and data, (1.4%) for the domains of algebra and geometry, (1.36%) for the domains of algebra and data, and (0.97%) for the domains of geometry and data. The researchers recommended employing the analysis of differential functioning of the person for diagnostic purposes in the multidimensional tests in order to provide an opportunity for educational intervention and address the weaknesses of students in the various academic, educational or psychological fields.
