الإستراتيجية التوجيهية في الخطاب التعليمي الموجّه لمتعلمي العربية لغة ثانية : دراسة تداولية
This study aims to provide a pragmatic analysis for the teaching discourse designed for learners of Arabic as a second language. The study is organized into an introduction and five sections. The first section deals with imperative aspects. The second section discusses prohibitive aspect, while the third part is concerned is concerned with interrogatives. The fourth section is dedicated to vocative aspect, whereas the fifth section addresses the issue of persuasive, urging guidance the pursuit of knowledge. The study showed that the discursive method was evident in the reading texts and their topics, with guiding strategy as the most prevalent and fit for the topics covering religious, behavioral and social values. Pragmatics was of an importance in showcasing Arab culture and social restrictions in various forms. Discursive strategies in educational texts came in two aspects: the first is context-bound and the other relates to teaching context requirements in terms of linguistic diversity and communicative methods adopted by Arabic speakers. Mastering discursive strategies and purposes proved to be an educational aim, making it an effective method employed in teaching Arabic as a second language. (Published abstract)
