The study aimed to find out the Attitudes of students at the University of Nizwa towards the use of artificial intelligence in teaching religious values to basic education students in the Sultanate of Oman. The study used the descriptive analytical methodology and the study sample consisted of (139) female students in the academic year 2023-2024.To achieve the objectives of the study, an electronic questionnaire was built and its validity and stability were calculated by appropriate statistical methods. The results of the study showed that there were high Attitudes among students toward the use of artificial intelligence, and that they use artificial intelligence applications in teaching religious values by (72.5%) and sometimes to a degree. The results of the study also showed that there were challenges that limit the use of artificial intelligence applications in teaching religious values, including the weakness of the technological infrastructure in some schools and the lack of adequate training and workshops for artificial intelligence applications. Finally, the results showed that ChatGPT is the most used by female students in teaching religious values. In light of the results of the study, it was recommended that university students should be trained on artificial intelligence applications. (Published abstract)
