The study investigated the level of emotional balance and its relationship to responsibility of teachers who are about to get married. To achieve the objective of the study, the correlational descriptive methodology was employed. For data collection, Emotional balance and Responsibility Taking Scales were used. The sample of the study consisted of (319) male and female marriage candidate teachers selected using simple random sampling. The results of the study indicated a moderate level of emotional balance and a high level of responsibility among marriage candidate teachers. No statistically significant differences were found in emotional balance and responsibility level among marriage candidate teachers due to gender, qualification and age. In light of the results, the study recommended the need for developing counseling programs targeting educating marriage candidate teachers about the importance of emotional stability and its relationship with responsibility taking.
