The study aimed at finding out the degree of practicing transactional leadership among public school principals in the Al Quaismeh district and its relationship to collegiality from teachers' point of view. To achieve its goals, descriptive correlational methadology was used based on a questionnaire of two scales (Transactional Leadership and Collegiality), after verifying its validity and reliability. The study sample consisted of (397) male and female teachers selected from Al Quaismeh schools using a simple random sampling method. The results of the study revealed that the mean score of transactional leadership practicing degree was high in the total domains. The conditional reward and management by exception domains were high, while the conditional punishment was moderate. The mean score of collegialities practicing degree was high in the total and individual domains. The results revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the practicing degree of transactional leadership and collegiality. (Published abstract)
