فاعلية برنامج تدريبي يستند إلى تحليل المهمات موجه للوالدين لتحسين مهارات الحياة اليومية لأطفالهم من ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة
This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on task analysis directed at parents to improve the daily life skills of their children with mild intellectual disability. The study sample consisted of (30) parents of students with mild intellectual disability in the State of Kuwait, they were randomly divided into two groups, experimental (15) and control (15). To collect the evidence, a tool was prepared to measure the daily life skills of children with intellectual disability, and acceptable validity and reliability indications for the scale were extracted. He also designed the training program, which consisted of (20) sessions, and its implementation took a month, with Four sessions per week. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level (a=0.05) in the responses of the parents of children with mild intellectual disability on the scale of daily life skills according to the group variable (experimental and control) in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended conducting workshops for parents of children with intellectual disability, in which they are trained to use the task analysis method. (Published abstract)
