This study aims to reveal the level of metacognitive thinking and life skills. It also aims to know the predictive relationship of the level of metacognitive thinking on life skills among students at Al Al-Bayt University in Jordan. This study used the predictive correlational approach due to its suitability to the subject of the study. To collect data, the metacognitive thinking scale and the life skills scale were used after confirming their psychometric properties, which were built by the researchers. The study sample consisted of (105) male and female students studying the course of teaching thinking at Al Al-Bayt University, who were selected by chosen purposive method. The results of the study showed high level in metacognitive thinking and its fields, and high level - also - in life skills and their fields. The field of planning and organization in metacognitive thinking explained (5.1%) of the variance explained by life skills. The study recommended the necessity of investing in the level of metacognitive thinking and life skills among students to reach a state of psychological, academic, and social adaptation, and integrating them into curricular and co-curricular activities designed for this purpose.
