The study aimed to identify the reality of professional development for workers in general and basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman, and to identify differences according to the gender variable. The study used the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data on a sample consisting of (710) teachers, supervisors, principals, and school administrators in the Sultanate of Oman. During the academic year 2023-2024 AD, the results showed that the areas of the tool in the estimates of administrative supervisors ranged between a large and moderate degree, while the estimates of school principals were moderate, while the estimates of educational supervisors were also moderate, and the estimates of teachers were also as well, which means that the workers Schools are in great need of attention to their professional development. The results also showed differences according to the gender variable in favor of males. (Published abstract)
