The study aimed to reveal the social skills of educational counselors, and to know the significance of the statistical difference among the individuals of the research sample in general, and the statistical differences according to the gender variable (males, females). The researcher adopted the scale (Naji, 2019), which consists in its final form of (36) paragraphs distributed over (6) fields. After calculating the discriminatory power of the paragraphs and calculating the relationship of the paragraph to the field and there lationship of the paragraph to the total score, the reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach's alpha method, which reached (99.6%), which is a high and acceptable reliability. The reliability was extracted using the retest method, as the reliability coefficient reached (99.2%), which is an acceptable reliability coefficient. After finding the psychometric characteristics, it was applied to a sample of (200) male and female counselors. After statistical processing of the data, the results indicated that the research sample in general enjoys social skills, and that there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable (males, females), and it was significant in favor of females.
