The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of a training program in improving the performance of mathematics teachers in solving mathematical problems, and its impact on developing the skills of solving mathematical problems among their students in Al-Bushra Al-Zaher Private Schools in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. To achieve the research objectives, the quasi-experimental approach was used according to a single-group design with two measurements before and after, applied to mathematics teachers in Al Bushra Al-Zaher Private Schools, numbering (6) teachers, and a sample of their students, numbering (124) students. The data were collected using an observation card and a problem-solving test to measure the performance of mathematics teachers and their students in solving the problem. The research results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the averages of the ranks of mathematics teachers before and after applying the training program in favor of the post-application, and there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the averages of the students' scores before and after applying the training program for mathematics teachers in favor of the post-application. The researcher benefited from this by increasing his self-confidence, developing his research skills, analytical abilities, and critical ideas, and becoming convinced of the importance of this type of procedural research as a scientific method for addressing and improving teaching practices.
