The study aimed to identify the role of emotional cut-off among children in increasing psychological stress among working mothers in secondary schools in Hafr AlBatin Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive correlational approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (280) mother teachers from secondary schools in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. The emotional cut-off scale and the psychological stress scale were used which are prepared by the researcher. The study revealed that: there is a correlation between emotional cut-off and increased psychological stress among working mothers in secondary schools in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, where the correlation coefficient value was (.597**), and the significance value was (.000). The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05). in the responses of the research sample members about the effect of emotional cut-off among children and the increase in psychological stress among working mothers in secondary schools in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate due to the variable (number of children). There is a statistically significant effect that emotional cut-off causes an increase in psychological stress among working mothers in secondary schools in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. The study recommended the need to prepare counseling programs within schools for children to enhance social and emotional relationships, reduce levels of emotional cut-off and strengthen social ties. Moreover, the need for teachers to direct the importance of strengthening social ties between students themselves and between students and their families, and the need for school administrations to pay attention to preparing psychological and social programs and courses in order to develop the capacities of working mothers in schools in managing and confronting psychological stress.
