The study aimed to apply the most important 21st-century skills (digital age skills, creative thinking skills, effective communication skills, high productivity skills) within school activities and to identify their role in developing students’ academic achievement skills. It also sought to propose a framework for developing these skills through school activities. The research problem focused on bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market demands by reviewing the performance of school activities. To achieve the study’s objectives, the researchers employed the descriptive survey method, targeting all male and female school leaders at the intermediate and secondary levels in Jeddah Governorate. An electronic questionnaire was distributed, yielding 300 responses (a response rate of 28%). The questionnaire, the main tool for data collection, was divided into Two main axes: the first focused on the extent to which 21st-century skills (digital age, creative thinking, effective communication, and high productivity) are applied in school activities; the second examined the role of these skills in enhancing academic achievement. One of the key findings of the study was the ranking of skills according to their impact on school activities for students: effective communication skills came first, followed by digital age skills, high productivity skills, and finally creative thinking skills. The application of 21st-century skills varied among schools, attributed to the leadership efficiency, teachers, and activity coordinators’ awareness of the importance of these skills for students.
