This research aims to know the relationship between cognitive distortions and mental health among secondary school students in Jizan city and to identify the level of cognitive distortions and their level of mental health, and the possibility of predicting cognitive distortions through their scores on the mental health scale, on a sample of (360) secondary school students in Jizan city aged between 16-18 years, where they were selected by simple random method, and the researcher relied on the descriptive correlational approach. And to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the cognitive distortions scale prepared by (Haroun, 2017) and the mental health scale prepared by Ahmed Abd elkhaleq (2016), and the use of the (SPSS) program to process the data, where the researcher concluded that there is a low level of cognitive distortions among secondary school students in Jizan city, while they have an average level of exaggeration in goals and performance standards, there is a high level of mental health among secondary school students in Jizan city, there is a statistically significant relationship between cognitive distortions and mental health among secondary school students in Jizan city, Cognitive distortions can also be predicted through health among secondary school female students in Jazan city.
