This research addresses the development of a self-assessment program to empower schools in select schools within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, introducing a proposed educational supervisory model. The program aims to enhance the quality of education and increase school performance efficiency by integrating the concept of educational empowerment with supportive and guided supervisory mechanisms, aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The study relied on SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and conducted interviews to collect data, employing a descriptive methodology to examine the current state of educational supervision. The research was limited to public schools in Taif Province, with the model applied over six months. The study focused on developing a supervisory model encompassing self-assessment mechanisms and training. Results indicated that school empowerment significantly enhanced school autonomy, leading to improved teaching practices and educational process management. Self-assessment procedures effectively diagnosed performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses clearly, and guiding sustainable development plans. The results also underscored the importance of parental and community involvement, which strengthened community trust and supported school development. The study recommended expanding the model to more schools, providing ongoing training programs for teachers and supervisors, and ensuring the allocation of necessary resources to support a comprehensive educational environment. It also suggested creating educational networks for experience sharing and strengthening community engagement. The study emphasized the need to advance self-assessment tools and adopt digital platforms for continuous evaluation, contributing to the school’s capacity to adapt to changes and achieve sustainable improvement.
