تأثير برنامج تدريبي قائم على منهجية السينكتكس في تنمية التفكير التأملي لدى طلبة الصف الثامن في الأردن
This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on Synectic’s’ strategy on developing reflective thinking of eighth-grade students in Jordon. The research design used in this study was the quasi-experimental method. The sample consisted of (52) female students from eighth grade in Al-Feker educational school in Amman, during the second semester (2020/2021). Two classes were chosen randomly, one of them was assigned as an experimental group (n=26), and the second was assigned as a control group (n=26). The training program which was developed and applied in this study is based on the Synectic’s strategy. The reflective thinking scale developed by Kember et al. (2000), was used to assess reflective thinking. To answer the research Question, means, standard deviations, adjusted averages were calculated, and the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the scores of the two groups in the total score for each dimension and the third and fourth dimensions together on reflective thinking scale in favor of the experimental group attributed to the training program.
