This study aimed to identify the reality of using artificial intelligence (AI) applications in developing self-learning skills among middle school female students in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. To achieve this goal, the study adopted the descriptive survey method. The sample consisted of (164) randomly selected students. A questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection. The study found that the majority of middle school students in the eastern part of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah use AI applications to develop their self-learning skills, with a usage rate of (78.05%). Regarding the self-learning skills, the highest mean score was for the skill of information-seeking (mean = 4.367), followed by problem-solving skills (mean = 4.092), while time management skills ranked third (mean = 3.861). Based on these findings, several recommendations were made, including: using information-seeking applications in classrooms or at home to enhance research skills, training students on the use of problem-solving applications to develop academic problem-solving abilities, and employing time management applications in the school environment as organizational tools to help students plan their study times and daily tasks.
