The study aimed to measure the effect of using the educational game Minecraft in developing the skills of designing typical lessons for computer teachers. The experimental method was followed with a quasi-experimental design with one group and a post-test. The research sample consisted of (10) computer teachers in Jeddah Governorate, who were randomly selected. The data was collected using a measurement tool for quantitative research, which is (an educational product evaluation card) using (the Minecraft educational game) as an independent variable and (design of typical lessons) as a dependent variable. The effect size was measured by Cohen (d’cohien) for one sample, where the effect size reached (0.890), which is a very strong effect size, which indicates that the program has a great degree of influence in improving lesson planning skills. The results of testing the hypothesis showed: There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the average ranks of the experimental group’s parameters’ scores and the mastery level of 80%.
