This research trying to predict depression among compulsive buying and to reveal the differences on the two measures of depression and compulsive buying among females’ students, professors, and employees at Umm Al-Qura University. The participated in the study were (373). This study used two measures the compulsive buying for Maraz, et al (2015) and depression Beck et al (1996). The results showed that there is a weak level in both compulsive buying and depression scales. Also, this research reported that the possibility to product of the depression throughout the compulsive buying scale around (4.6%). Results emphasis that the three dimensions of compulsive buying (lack of control, feelings of guilt, and buying unnecessary things) have a predictive ability to explain (4.3%; 5.8%; 6.6%), respectively, of the variance in the level of depression. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences on the scale of depression between female employees and students due to the variable of occupation and age in side of female students and the social stats in side of unmarried women. On the other hand, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the study sample individuals on the compulsive buying disorder scale due to the difference of each of employment, age, and socioeconomic status.
