This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of using distance learning in media specializations from the perspective of students at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, with a sample of 211 students from the university's three branches (Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Al-Arroub). Data was collected through a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 94.7%. The study's findings revealed that students' evaluation of the effectiveness of distance learning in achieving media specializations outcomes was generally moderate. Their assessment of 'Success Factors' and the 'Actions Taken' was also rated at a moderate level. The university’s platforms facilitated communication between students and instructors, allowing course plans to be completed despite the negative impact on practical training. Students’ commitment to attending online sessions was lower compared to traditional learning. A positive correlation was found between all variables and the achievement of media specializations outcomes, the 'Actions Taken' showing the strongest significance. The study recommends improving partnerships with media institutions to support practical training during distance learning, individual differences among students by offering suitable solutions for those lacking proper internet access or necessary equipment for distance learning, the study also calls for enhancing technological infrastructure, and promoting student engagement in online sessions to improve the effectiveness of distance learning.
