أثر التدريس باستخدام أفلام الخيال العلمي في تنمية التفكير الإبداعي لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في ضوء دافعيتهم نحو تعلم مبحث العلوم الحياتية بالأردن
This study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching using a proposed strategy based on science fiction films in the development of creative thinking for the basic tenth grade students in light of their motivation towards learning the life sciences subject in Jordan. The sample of (51) students was chosen from two basic tenth – grade classes at the “Model School” in Jordan. The students of the two divisions were randomly assigned to an experimental group that was studied using science fiction films, and a control group that studied in the msual method. A measure of creative thinking was prepared that included five domains: fluency (expressive, intellectual, verbal and forms), flexibility (adaptive and automatic), originality, enrichment with detail and sensitivity to problems. For hypotheses testing, Multivariate Analysis of Covariance (MANCOVA) was used. The results revealed significant differences attributed to the effect of the strategy in all domains and the overall degree with the exception of the domain of sensitivity to problems, and the differences in favor of the strategy was based on science fiction films. There were no significant differences attributed to the effect of motivation in all domains and in the overall degree, as well as there were no significant differences due to the effect of the interaction between strategy and motivation in all dimensions and in the overall degree. The study recommended conducting further studies and research on the use of science fiction films as a teaching strategy. (Published abstract)
