The present study aimed to reveal the role of educational graduate programs at Qassim University in developing research skills of graduate students from their point of view. To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers used descriptive survey methodology ، and a questionnaire was used as a tool of the study. The study sample consisted of (158) graduate students in master and doctoral stages. The study concluded that the educational studies programs at Qassim University contribute to the development of research skills which are: identification skills ، organization skills, presentation skills, connectivity& conclusion skills, using of technology skills ، to a medium degree according to study sample's responses, and a high level of using of technology skills. The results of the study indicated that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the responses of students on the development of research skills attributed to the gender variable for the benefit of male students, and there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of students on the development of courses for research skills attributed to the stage variable. Moreover, there are presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the responses of students on the development of courses for research skills attributed to the variable of majors in favor of teaching techniques major. A set of recommendations were made in the light of the study findings. (Published abstract)
