معوقات استخدام منهجية البحث النوعي لدى طالبات الدراسات العليا في الأقسام التربوية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية ومقترحات التحسين
The study aimed to identify the personal, academic, administrative and organizational constraints that resulted in lack of using the qualitative researches in the departments of education at Imam Mohammed Bin Saud University and to come up with appropriate suggestions that would enhance using this type of researches (from the student's viewpoint The study was conducted based on the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as a research tool .The study enrolled all PhD postgraduate students; 156 female students from the departments of education.The study concluded that PhD students have agreed that there are several personal, academic, administrative and organizational constraints that act against their attitude toward choosing the qualitative researches .The most important factors are: Using, mainly, the quantitative researches and the lack of training in conducting qualitative researches (the practical aspect) during the college years in the field of education. In addition, the lack of the workshops that would help to make them qualified and skillful in dealing with qualitative researches .The study has also concluded that the members of the study population are agreeable on the measures suggested to enhance using the qualitative research approach (from the postgrad student's viewpoint) which include: supporting, publishing and applying the qualitative researches that are well-done and also putting clear and specific standards on how to critique the qualitative researches.
