الضبط الإحصائي لأداء أعضاء هيئة التدريس : دراسة تطبيقية في جامعة القصيم
The present study aimed at employing statistical quality control of specifications in the process of evaluating faculty members at Qassim University, and showing effects of a number of variables including area of specialization, gender, academic rank, and educational qualification. The results showed a preference of male specifications map compared to that of female, when control limits of specifications of males are free from outliers, unlike map specifications of females. There was also a clear contrast of control limits of related to Academic Rank variable, as it was found that whenever the academic rank was lower, the higher the control limits of specificaitons. The study found that there is a convergence between the upper control limits for the category of associate professor and professor with a category assistant professor, and this move away from categories of lecturer and lower. The results revealed a clear contrast to the control limits of censorship in terms of educational qualification variable, as it was found that whenever the qualification was lower, the higher the suppreme control limits of specifications. The most important recommendations that the present study was provided is that the Scientific Council of University will benefit from the faculty member evaluation form. This form mgiht be adopted as a reference for faculty member promtion purposes, as thei form of evaluation is inclusive and cover many dimensions of evaluating faculty member (etc. academic, research, scientific, administrative, behavior with students and administration diminisions), therefore, it should be adopted as one of the requirements faculty member promotion.
