This study aimed to verify the effect of the interactive writing instruction strategy on the tendencies towards written expression among students with hard of hearing impairments in the secondary stage. The researchers used the quasi-experimental approach, so that the experimental group included (8) female students, and the number of the control group was (8) female students. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the experimental group members in the tendencies towards written expression among the hearing-impaired female students in the secondary stage in the pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurement. The most prominent recommendations were emphasizing the role of the teacher in developing students' tendencies by realizing students' self-esteem by instilling confidence in themselves and strengthening and supporting their tendencies through the use of interactive strategies and moving away from traditional methods of teaching. With a focus on tendencies and the need to include them in the academic content through the use of effective modern methods and strategies in which the learner is an active element.
