أثر برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى أُنموذج سكمان suchman في تنمية مهارات التفكير التأملي لدى معلمي العلوم في الأردن
This study aimed at investigating the effect of a training program based on Suchman inquiry model on the development of reflective thinking skills among science teachers in Jordan. The study used the quasi-experimental approach and was applied on a sample of (60) science teachers from public schools at Al-Muwaqqar educational directorate, who were selected purposefully and divided into groups, experimental group (n=30) and a control group (n=30). The experimental group received training based on Suchman inquiry model for 3 weeks while the control group received conventional training. A scale of reflective thinking was applied on both groups after ensuring its validity and reliability. The results of this study indicated the presence of statistically significant differences between the performance of the experimental and control group on the scale, in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended utilizing the results of this study in developing training workshops for science teachers. (Published abstract)
