The research aims to identify the constructive thinking of university students, and the researchers used the descriptive research method. The research community is determined by the university students for the academic year (2021-2022) and the research sample consisted of (400) male and female students chosen by the random stratified method with a proportional distribution from six colleges (college Education for Humanities, College of Islamic Sciences, College of Basic Education, College of Agriculture, College of Science, and College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences) at the University of Diyala, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers built a scale of constructive thinking according to Epstein’s theory (Epstein, 2001). The constructive thinking scale consisted of (24) items, and the apparent validity, construct validity and factor analysis of the tool were verified. The reliability was verified by re-testing, and the reliability coefficient was (0.79), and the tool’s stability coefficient reached (0.81) by the Alpha Cronbach method, using statistical means. One-sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, z-test, Alpha-Cronbach coefficient, factorial analysis, regression analysis, and analysis of variance. (Published abstract)
