The research aims to reveal the relationship between self-efficacy and post-traumatic stress disorder among divorced female teachers. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (80) divorced female teachers between the governorates of Sharkia and Cairo, with ages ranging between (23-50) years, with an average age of (37.22) and a standard deviation of (6.27040). The researcher used the following tools: Self-efficacy scale prepared by Yahya Mahmoud Al-Najjar, consisting of 36 phrases distributed over three dimensions (initiative - effort - perseverance), posttraumatic stress scale prepared by the researcher, consisting of 45 phrases. The results indicated the existence of a statistically significant relationship at the level (0.01) between the total degree of self-efficacy and post-traumatic stress among divorced female teachers. The results indicated the existence of a statistically significant relationship between self-efficacy and post-traumatic stress. Post-traumatic stress scores can be predicted from the degrees of self-efficacy among divorced female teachers. There were statistically significant differences. Between low and high self-efficacy in post-traumatic stress among divorced female teachers in favor of low and high self-efficacy. In light of these results, the researcher presented recommendations that would enrich this topic in subsequent studies. (Published abstract)
