تأثير التفاعل بين قلق المستقبل والأفكار اللاعقلانية على المعدل التراكمي لدى طلاب كلية التربية بجامعة جازان
The study is concerned with the Impacts of future anxiety and irrational thoughts on academic achievement among (223) student who are mainly selected from faculty of Education's students in Jazan University. The students' age rate was (19-23) years, their average was (21.53) years and with standard deviation (1.83). The present study has applied future anxiety measurement designed by the researcher. In addition, the present study has applied irrational thoughts measurement translated by the researcher. The present study has used different statistical methods such as statistical analysis using SPSS, there are statistically significant differences between academic achievement between students with high and low future anxiety. This difference is explained in favor of students with low future anxiety. In addition, the present study has concluded also that there are statistically significant differences in academic achievement between students with high and low irrational thoughts. This difference explained in favor of students with low irrational thoughts. There was an impact of the interaction between level of anxiety and irrational thoughts on academic average among university students. The results of the research indicated that it is important to develop guidance programs to reduce the levels of anxiety and irrational thoughts among university students to improve their academic level.
