برنامج تعليمي مقترح في تطبيقات النانو تكنولوجي وفاعليته في تنمية الخيال العلمي لدى طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في مقرر العلوم
This study aimed to construct a proposed educational program in Nanotechnology and then examine its effectiveness in developing science fiction among second-year female students of the intermediate school in the Science course. The study employed a quasiexperimental design, and the sample of the study was 31 second-year female students chosen randomly from one of the intermediate schools in Jazan city. The scales of scientific fiction and environmental awareness were applied to the experimental group before and after applying the program, that after checking the psychometric characteristics for each scale using the appropriate statistical methods. The main findings of the study are the following there were statistically significant differences at the level of between the mean score in the experimental group in the pre-and post-application in all dimensions (predicting future explorations and inventions, positive perceptions of the human future, finding imaginary solutions based on scientific foundations, what happens if) and domains (such as: energy, water treatment filtration, air purification, food security) and the overall score of science fiction in favour of the post-application scores in all cases. The main study recommendations are to embed nanotechnology concepts and applications in various stages of education, to organize periodical workshops to teach and support nanotechnology, and its role in resolving environmental problems, and finally to design models for lessons in science related to environmental nanotechnology applications and how the Kingdom benefited from them in addressing the challenges it faced.
