The research aimed to identify (the skill of managing work stress among the heads of scientific departments at the University of Karbala from the point of view of the teachers), which consisted of (158) male teachers and (113) female teachers, chosen from the original community of the faculty members at the University of Karbala, which numbered (1357) teachers distributed among all the university’s faculties, and the researcher used a set ،researcher extracted the honesty and stability index of the scale of statistical methods (arithmetic means, standard deviation, t-test for one sample, t-test for two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha-Craw-Nbach equation and Scheffe equation). The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS) to reach the required results in the research procedures. And the current research concluded that the heads of scientific departments from the teachers’ point of view have the skill to manage work stress, as there are statistically significant differences in the skill of managing work stress from the teachers’ point of view depending on the variable (sex) in favor of males, and there are also statistically significant differences in the skill of managing work stress from the point of view of the teachers according to the variable (the scientific title) in favor of the title of professor.
