This study aimed to identify the correlation between leadership skills and the level of emotional intelligence among a sample of Jordanian youth and used the descriptive correlational methodology. The sample was chosen intentionally consisted of (270) individuals, the leadership skills scale and emotional intelligence scale were developed, and their validity and reliability were confirmed. The results concluded that leadership skills came at a medium level and emotional intelligence came at a high level, and there was a positive statistically significant correlation between leadership skills and the level of emotional intelligence. The researchers recommend conducting more studies on the relationship between leadership skills and emotional intelligence for age groups in different jobs to discover talents, leadership tendencies and emotional intelligence among these groups.
