The study aimed to reveal the relationship between metacognitive beliefs and anxiety among male and female teachers. The sample includes a group to calculate the psychometric characteristics of (50) male and female teachers, and a core group (108) male and female teachers from schools in the Sharkia Governorate. Tools were used that represented the psychometric study tools, namely: the Metacognition Beliefs Scale (prepared by Muhammad Al-Sayyid Abdel Rahman, 2015). And the Taylor Anxiety Scale (prepared by Janet Taylor 1959, translated by Mostafa Fahmy, Mohamed Ahmed Ghaly, 1993), and the results resulted in a statistically significant positive correlation at the level of (0.01) between metacognitive beliefs and anxiety. There are statistically significant differences between high and low teachers. Anxiety in the dimensions (negative beliefs and cognitive confidence). There are no differences between those with high and low anxiety in the dimensions (positive beliefs - cognitive self-awareness). Some metacognitive factors but not others can predict anxiety among teachers. In light of the results of the current research, it is possible to present Some recommendations are as follows: Highlighting metacognitive factors in their relationship to anxiety disorders, depression, and other disorders as well as their impact on the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of the individual.
