The goal of the research to reveal the effect of the two types of electronic discussion in an environment based on the collaborative web edits on developing some skills to design mobile learning applications and systematic thinking among students of the College of Education. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the quantum curriculum was used, with descriptive design and semi -experimental design with the two experimental groups, where the study was applied on a sample of 60 students from the sixth level students – the kindergarten department - at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, and the study tools were a cognitive and performance test of design skills Mobile learning applications, and a test of systemic thinking skills. The results of the study resulted in the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance 0.05 between the average degrees of students of the two experimental groups in which the electronic discussion is used and not guided by both the cognitive achievement test, the performance test at all skills represented by the test and the total test, and the systematic thinking test at all the skills represented by the test and the total test, in favor of the style of electronic discussions directed. The results also indicated that there is a strong correlation relationship with statistically significant at the level of 0.01 between the average degree of students of the two experimental groups in the post - application for both systemic thinking test and the achievement and performance test of mobile learning applications design skills. The research made a number of recommendations among the most important of them: Employing the strategy of electronic discussions directed and existing in the PBWORKS environment in the educational process in the educational process, coinciding with me and do not coincide; Its active role in developing the various cognitive and performance aspects of applications design skills, and systemic thinking.
