The research aims to identify the relationship between self-regulation and social anxiety, as well as to identify the differences between male and female middle school students in self-regulation, as well as to identify male and female middle school students in social anxiety, and to identify the distinctive dynamics of orphaned middle school students with High social anxiety and low self-regulation. The research sample consisted of (68) middle school students, divided into (30) male students, and (38) middle school students, and their ages ranged between (13-15) years. The mean age of the sample is (14.25) years, and the standard deviation is (0.89) years. The tools of the study were the measure of social anxiety (prepared by Dr. Hassan Mustafa), the measure of self-regulation (prepared by the researcher), the case study form (prepared by Dr. Hassan Mostafa), and the test (T.A.T). The results of the study concluded that there are negative correlations. Statistically significant between the scores of middle school students on the self-regulation scale (dimensions and total scores), and their scores on the social anxiety scale (dimensions and total scores), and there were no differences between the mean scores of males and females of middle school students on the social anxiety scale (dimensions and total scores). An imbalance in the organization of the personality, which leads to its disorder and deviation. (Published abstract)
