الحرمان العاطفي الوالدي وعلاقته بتقدير الذات لدى عينة من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية
The study aimed to reveal the kind of the relation between parental emotional deprivation and self-esteem among primary school students. To achieve this goal the study was conducted to on a Sample of "100" of the Primary School Students Suffering from Parental emotional deprivation (56 males,44 females). Their ages ranged between (10-12) years, the average age of "11" years and seven months and a standard deviation of (0,541), after applying the study tools represented in the parental emotional scale (Prepared by Fatma Ahmed Salman, 2002), and the self-esteem scale prepared by (Cooper smith, 1967) and translated into Arabic by (Shadi Mekki, 2014). Results have resulted in a statistically significant positive correlation at an indicative level (0.01) between primary pupils' grades in parental emotional deprivation and self-esteem, and there are statistically significant differences at an indicative level (0.01) between the research sample score averages of primary pupils (male and female) on the parental disadvantage scale for males, there are no statistically significant discrepancies between the average research sample scores of primary pupils (male and female) on the measure of self-esteem Scale.
