The goal is to prepare a measure of selective silence among primary school children and verify its validity and reliability. To achieve this goal, the measure was conducted in its initial form (the mother’s image - the teacher’s image) together and on a sample of (75) children with an average chronological age of (6-9) years and a standard deviation of (0.644). ) of primary school children at Al-Qaysariyya Primary School, East Mahalla AlKubra Administration, Gharbia Governorate, Abu Bakr AlSiddiq Primary School, Omar Bin Al-Khattab Primary School, and Mahalla Ziyad Joint Primary School, Samanoud Educational Administration, Gharbia Governorate, after reviewing the literature on the variable in question (selective silence - as well as Recent foreign research and studies that dealt with the variable in a different way in order to be guided by its dimensions, correction method, and statistical methods used in the efficiency of the meter (silent and optional). Accordingly, the researcher arrived at the final image that includes (26) items (the image of the teacher) and (23) items (the image of the mother). It is divided into three dimensions: refusal to speak, language of communication, and verbal behavior. (Published abstract)
