The research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of some of activities based on next generation science standards to develop learning science enjoyment for first year preparatory school students, to achieve this, the present study attempts to answer the following question: What is the effectiveness of some of activities based on next generation science standards to develop learning science enjoyment for first year preparatory school students? The study instruments and materials, represented in: the activity's book based on next generation science standards, the teacher's guide, and learning science enjoyment scale. The study materials applied on a group of (90) first year preparatory student, they were assigned equally into two groups: treatment group (45) student and non-treatment group (45) student in Al-Hawaber preparatory boys and girls school, west of Derb Negm educational zone in Sharkia governorate. Results of the study: The study found the following results: 1) There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) level between the mean scores of the treatment group and non-treatment group students in the post-administration of the learning science enjoyment scale as a whole and in each of its sub-skills favoring the treatment group. 2) There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) level between the mean scores of the treatment group students in the pre- and the post- administration of the learning science enjoyment scale as a whole and in each of its sub-skills favoring the post- administration.
