Average age (8.2) year and standard deviation (0,96) year. The following measures were applied to them: a measure of separation anxiety for widowed mothers (prepared by the researcher,2022). And a measure of separation anxiety for children of widowed mothers (prepared by the researcher, 2022). The following statistical methods were used: correlation coefficient (Pearson) "Person correlation, T-test to indicate the differences between the mean scores of the two independent groups of data, The most important results revealed: There were positive and statistically significant correlations (at the level of 0.01) between the degrees of: widowed mothers on the separation anxiety scale (all dimensions and total scores), and their children's scores on the separation anxiety scale (in all dimensions and total scores). There is a statistically significant difference at one level (0,05) between the mean scores of males and females of the children of widow mothers in the first dimension (physiological symptoms), from the dimensions of separation anxiety, in favor of males. There is not a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of males and females of the children of widow mothers in the in each of the second dimension (emotional symptoms), and the third dimension (cognitive symptoms), and the fourth dimension (social symptoms), and the total score of the separation anxiety scale.
