بناء مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية والتحقق من خصائصه السيكومترية
The research aimed to construct a measure of social skills among preparatory school students and verify its psychometric characteristics. To achieve this goal, the psychological literature related to social skills was reviewed, and previous measures that were mentioned in previous studies were collected. Through this, the three dimensions of social skills were identified through the relative importance of each dimension, and it was defined procedurally, and items related to each dimension were formulated, and a sample of (200) male and female students was selected from the preparatory stage in Al-Husseiniyah, city Sharkia Governorate, and by analyzing the data to verify the psychometric characteristics of the scale and its reliability for use for that age stage, the researcher concluded that the scale had a degree High degree of internal consistency, the correlation coefficients between the score of each item and the total score of the dimension to which it belongs, and the score of each dimension and the total score of the scale, were statistically significant; And that the theoretical model of the scale is identical to the statistical data, as it met the conditions of good fit, and the stability values were acceptable for each of the three dimensions, where the McDolland Omega coefficients were using Bayesian statistics (0.714, 0.882, 0.891), respectively. Hence, the researcher reassured the possibility of applying the scale to preparatory school students in order to identify their social skills. (Published abstract)
