Egypt strives for preparing and qualifying a generation of promising youth; able to face contemporary challenges blow all over the world and threaten Egypt's security at all levels. University student activities represent the lifeblood of communication and interactions among university students; through which students are able to reformulate their diverse skills, express themselves and successfully involve with colleagues and society, in general, within a social context based on fellowship, respect and mutual appreciation In this context, the current research addressed university student activities in Faculty of Education, Damietta University as an approach for developing leadership skills of students. Within theoretical framework, this research investigated the concept of university student activities in Damietta University in a theoretical and conceptual framework, along with reviewing the major leadership skills of Egyptian university students. The research also analyzed the extent of practising university activity among Faculty of Education students in Damietta University; as an approach for developing these leadership skills. The major obstacles hinder achieving that aim were addressed as well. Based on both theoretical and field frameworks, a proposed conceptualization for employing student activities as an approach for promoting leadership skills among Faculty of Education students, Damietta University has been established.
