The study aimed to identify how to develop follow-up and performance evaluation in pre-university education in Damietta Governorate. The study used the descriptive method for its relevance to the nature of the study; The study recommended the necessity for each follower to know the tasks required of him, and to know the optimal performance of each task, as well as the need to define the follower of how to properly self-govern his performance, and to develop a comprehensive plan for the follow-up process The study concluded that follow-up and performance evaluation represent one of the pillars of educational systems, and an important means of preparing the present and future generations, and the diversity of follow-up methods contributes to improving and developing the educational process, improving school administration performance, and improving the level of performance. The follow-up is a comprehensive process that covers all aspects of the educational educational process as an integrated system. The study recommended the importance of continuous training and development through (setting up a training plan for newly appointed observers, holding a training course for followers with the aim of unifying concepts and procedures for follow-up in order to circulate them to schools in a unified system, increasing the job satisfaction of the followers that drives them to further development.
