أنماط التفاعل اللفظي في فصول تدريس اللغة العربية عن بعد وعلاقتها بمستوى مخاوف الاتصال الشفهي عند طلاب جامعة جدة
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between patterns of verbal interaction during remote Arabic language courses and the level of oral communication apprehension among students at the University of Jeddah. The study utilized the following research tools: Flanders' tool for analyzing verbal classroom interaction and McCrosky's Communication Apprehension Scale (1985). The study's tools were administered to a random sample consisting of (15) faculty members at the University of Jeddah and (400) of their students. The results revealed the prevalence of one-way communication from the teacher to the students. Furthermore, the findings indicated a statistically significant positive correlation between an elevated teacher-centered communication style in the classroom and increased levels of oral communication apprehension among students. Conversely, there was a negative correlation between an elevated student-centered communication style and their levels of oral. The study concluded by offering a communication apprehension set of recommendations and suggestions based on the obtained results. (Published abstract)
