The research aims to reveal the relationship between self-management and addiction to social networking sites among university female students, and to achieve this goal, the research was conducted on a sample of (300) students at the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University. The ages of the students ranged between (19-21) years, with an average age of (20). years and a standard deviation (2.23), and the following tools were applied: the self-management scale (prepared by the researcher), and the social media addiction scale (prepared by the researcher). The results revealed that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between the students' scores on the self-management scale and their scores on the social media addiction scale, and the absence of statistically significant differences for the cultural background variable (rural - urban) on self-management, and the absence of statistically significant differences for the cultural background variable (rural - urban) on social networking sites addiction, and the results also revealed that self-confidence contributes Only others in predicting withdrawal symptoms with a total contribution rate of 6%, and that perseverance in facing obstacles contribute exclusively in predicting excessive use of social networking sites with a total contribution rate of 5%, and that the example Libra in the face of obstacles contributes exclusively to predicting the total degree of addiction to social networking sites, with a total contribution rate of 6%.
