The aim of the research is to study the peer framework that governs the work of electronic governance and to clarify its concepts, importance, principles and requirements for achieving it, as well as the theoretical framework for competitive advantage and to explain the concept, sources, strategies and dimensions, in addition to studying the Egyptian efforts exerted to try to achieve competitive advantage in educational administrations. The research method is the descriptive analytical method. This is ordered to carry out a process of surveying the competitive advantage on terms of its origin, concept, importance, types and strategic, as well as collecting information about the nature of e-governance in order to reach results aimed at presenting asset of proposals that contribute to establishing competitive advantage in educational departments through e-governance. The research has reached many results, the most prominent of which is: That governance has two main pillars: commitment and performance. E-governance is a powerful mechanism in curtailing administrative corruption through two dimensions of transparency and accountability. E-governance contributes to enhancing the ability and response of the institution to achieve good governance through the use of information and communication technology. The essence of the competitive advantage lies in creativity. The competitive advantage reflects the ability of the educational institution to achieve of the educational institution to achieve added value for the beneficiaries, especially the students.
