The study aimed to measure differences in personality types and psychosomatic disorders. The study used the descriptive analytical method in order to suit the nature of the research. The research sample was chosen randomly, and they were students from Qassim University and Unayzah private colleges, numbering (400) male and female students The researchers applied measures of personality types and psychosomatic disorders. The data was processed statistically using the statistical package (SPSS). The researcher reached a number of results. The most common personality type among university students is the conscientiousness type, followed by the extroversion type. Also, the conscientiousness dimension is more widespread among males than females. The study also revealed that there were statistically significant differences between personality types due to the gender variable. There are statistically significant differences in the dimension of neuroticism in favor of females, conscientiousness in favor of females, and there are no differences in the dimension of extroversion, openness to experience, conformity and conformity. There were statistically significant differences in the dimension of neuroticism in favor of Qassim University and no differences in the rest of the dimensions. It also revealed that there were statistically significant differences among university students in psychosomatic disorders due to the gender variable in physical symptoms in favor of females and in psychological symptoms in favor of males. It also revealed that there were significant differences. Statistics among university students regarding psychosomatic disorders are due to the university variable in favor of Qassim University. There is a positive direct relationship with statistical significance between the dimension of neuroticism and psychosomatic disorders, and the presence of an inverse relationship with statistical significance between (extroversion, agreeableness, and alertness of conscience) and psychosomatic disorders.
