This study aimed to identify e-learning competencies and the degree of their availability among faculty members in the preparatory year for students at King Saud University. The study followed the descriptive approach, and the study population consisted of all faculty members in the preparatory year at King Saud University, numbering (98) members, and the questionnaire was used as a tool. To collect data, the study concluded with several results, the most important of which are that e-learning competencies are available among faculty members in the preparatory year for students at King Saud University from their point of view in the axis of e-learning culture competencies, in the axis of computer use competencies, in the axis of using networks and the Internet, and in the axis of design competencies. And the dissemination of electronic courses to a high degree. The study recommended the necessity of holding specialized training courses for faculty members in the field of e-learning techniques on an ongoing basis to overcome the lack of e-learning competencies and keep pace with the rapid development in this field.
