The study aimed to identify the most important factors predicting academic achievement in science for ninth-grade students in public schools in the Nablus district, and to identify the possibility of predicting student achievement in science through the following independent variables: (student achievement in mathematics, the student's academic ability variable, gender variable, school type variable, student's general average), and determining the contribution of the student's mark in mathematics to predict the science mark. The researcher used the descriptive correlative approach, where the study was conducted on the ninth grade students, whose number is (6307) male and female students, and the study sample consisted of (100) male and female students who were chosen in a simple random way, and the results revealed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the variables (student achievement in Mathematics subject, the student's academic ability variable, the student's gender variable) on the student's achievement in the science subject.
